Gear Up for a Strong Start
Ease back into the school year with TLS Gear-Ups, designed to help new and current TLS students refresh key skills, build confidence, and reconnect with learning before the first day of school. It’s a thoughtful way to re-establish routines, sharpen academic foundations, and begin the year feeling prepared.
TLS offers grade-specific Gear-Ups for Kindergarten through 8th grade in both Literacy and Math. Students review important concepts from the previous year, strengthen foundational skills, and gain momentum heading into a new school year, all in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Whether your child needs a gentle refresher or an academic boost, Gear-Ups help students ease back into school-day rhythms, from early mornings to focused learning.
If you are interested in registering your student for Gear Up camps, please email Jonathan Herrington, Director of Auxiliary Programming.
*If you are unsure whether your student would benefit from Gear-Ups, reach out to your child’s teacher.
