    Designed to engage the imagination, players practice acting, singing, and dancing fundamentals. Led by seasoned actor/director and educator Courtney A. Reed, PLAY challenges students to create, rehearse, and perform a musical scene and design and construct an original set, culminating with a short performance before a live audience on the last day of class.

    Crayons aren’t just for coloring books! In this class, we will melt and manipulate crayons in a variety of ways that can range from calm to chaotic. In the end, we shall call it art, but while we are in the process, we will simply call it a whole lot of fun.

    A year-long photography club, students document student life at TLS through the perspective and art of photography. Their inspired work contributes to the school yearbook, and their artistic journey culminates in a year-end gallery and exhibition.

    Acrobatics is the performance of extraordinary human feats of balance, agility, and motor coordination. It can be found in many of the performing arts, sports, and martial arts. The goal of the acrobatics class is to introduce the sport to preschool children as a way of building core strength and reinforcing valuable lessons of teamwork and self-discipline. Classes will include instruction in tumbling, rolling, jump handstands, and cartwheels. Focused on personal growth, flexibility, and fun, Alexander and Rafaela will nurture the development of acrobatic and artistic skills in the students.

    This class is designed to introduce and teach skills for various forms of weaving from stick weaving, cardboard looms, lap looms, to rigid heddle looms. Interesting and fun facts of wool, as well as terminology, will be presented.  Hand carding, drum carding, wet and dry felting will be used to create a pin cushion and a 3D sculpture.
