2021 Fall Sports Team Practice and Season Information

Dear Lexington School Families,
Please see the below offerings for fall sports! Below you will find a list of fall sports offerings along with accompanying information about practice and game schedules.
In order for your student to participate in the 2021 fall sports season you must fill out and submit the following registration form.  The information gathered from your registration is important when forming teams and when communicating with families. We will be communicating with families throughout the summer about important fall sports information.

A message from Katie Farmwald our athletic trainer:

Just a reminder, the TLS Health Office needs to have a sports physical on file for each athlete participating in TLS athletics. Physical clearance forms signed by your physician are good for 1 year and can be emailed to me at kfarmwald@thelexingtonschool.org   We also accept the KHSAA sports physical form used by most pediatricians.  You do not have to use the form we provide if your physician has their own version which they prefer to use.

  • Introducing Pioneer Football Team

The Pioneer Football Team is a middle school football program consisting of middle school student-athletes who attend Sayre School and The Lexington School. The program's mission is to provide a quality middle school football experience while using the game of football to assist in the total development of each student-athlete. The core values of the program will be a strong work ethic, character, accountability, and resiliency. The goals of the team are to provide a fun middle school football experience and prepare student-athletes for varsity football at the high school level if so desired.  With the creation of this new club format in Lexington, TLS will not offer an interscholastic football program. We are excited for our students to participate in this program and thankful to Coach Pennington for his leadership in its development.
The cost per player is $200.00 and that fee provides each player with the following:
    1. Uniform jersey
    2. Equipment rental
    3. Insurance
