Our summer program in The Learning Center at The Lexington School is a five-week program providing multisensory instruction to students grade one through eight in language and mathematics. The program is open to students in the greater Lexington community and does not require formal testing to attend.
Classes are offered Monday through Thursday*, JULY 1-AUGUST 2, 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Teachers are trained in multisensory instruction and the student to teacher ratio is 4:1. All students are screened prior to classes beginning and parents are provided with a written report and conference to discuss the results. As the program progresses parents are provided with weekly progress reports and a full written report at the conclusion of the sessions. A healthy snack and short recess are provided daily.
*Due to the 4th of July holiday; classes the first week will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. The fourth day of that week will be made up on August 2nd. Classes during the remainder of the program will be held Monday-Thursday.
