Preschool Camps

​

Here We Go | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275/week 

How do we get from A to Z? Transportation is a curious thing! Let’s go somewhere even in our imaginations and figure out how we get there. Planes, trucks, trains, or bicycles, we will explore them all and more, build our own, and imagine all the places we can go.  

 

Afternoon Camps | Options to extend your child’s day 

 

Lunch Bunch | 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. | $50/week (If selecting an afternoon camp, Lunch Bunch is included in the price.)

Does your camper need an extra hour after morning camp to enjoy lunch and recess with friends? Add “Lunch Bunch” to the day. Campers bring their own lunch. TLS is a nut-free school. No peanut butter or other foods that contain nuts of any kind, please. 

 

Stay 'N Play | 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Does your camper want to stay all day? This afternoon session is organized by age and stage. Younger children will have more time to rest and nap while older children will enjoy free play, snacks, as well as organized games with camp counselors. It's a fun way to extend your

Camp Curiosity day. “Lunch Bunch” included.

 

Lower School Camps

 

Cardboard Arcade Game | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275/week

Who doesn’t love Pacman and Galaga? These games have stood the test of time. During Cardboard Arcade, students will discover and create new arcade games that are sure to be a hit.  With materials found in the classroom and around the school, students will design and create a cardboard game that is sure to entertain. Don't miss out on this chance to create your very own arcade game!

All Sports Camp (Grades 1-5) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Calling all sports fans! Come hang out with TLS staff as we play the day away. Campers will be introduced to the fundamentals of a wide variety of sports and games including soccer, badminton, lacrosse, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and Gaga Ball! Our 40+ acre campus includes two soccer fields, a football field, a gym, three outdoor basketball courts, and our very own Gaga Ball Pit. All skill types are welcome! “Lunch Bunch” included.

American Sign Language (Grades 1-5) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Spend the afternoon learning everyday signs, letters of the alphabet, numbers, and more! Together, we will learn about Deaf culture, technologies that assist Deaf people, and simple ways to communicate using sign language. Come join us as we take an American Sign Language adventure together!

Sewing (Grades 1-2) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Unleash Your Creativity with Sewing! Join this exciting Sewing class to design and create unique projects. Beginner or experienced, you'll develop essential sewing skills and unleash your imagination. No experience or unique materials are needed; we’ll provide everything. Discover various techniques, stitches, and decorative embellishments. Craft stylish garments, accessories, and home decor items. Combine learning with fun and become a sewing enthusiast. Get ready to stitch, create, and unlock endless creativity!

LS Rockets (Grades 3-5)  | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Embark on an exciting adventure at our Lower School Rockets Camp, designed exclusively for curious and creative lower school students! Join TLS’s own, Mr. Johnson, for a week of hands-on fun as we explore the basics of water rocket design, introducing the world of aerospace engineering. During the camp, students will have the chance to design, create, and launch their very own water bottle rockets. Dive into the engineering process, from brainstorming ideas to refining designs, and discover the joy of seeing your creations take flight. The camp culminates in a friendly launch competition, where participants can showcase their rockets and compete for the longest flight time. This camp offers a laid-back yet educational environment, perfect for those who want to learn while having a great time. So, if you're ready to add a touch of excitement to your summer, come join us at the Rockets Camp – where science and fun collide!

Middle School Camps

Middle School Dragster Cars (Grades 6-8) | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275/week

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of car design at our Middle School Car Design Camp! This camp, led by TLS teacher Mr. Johnson, is perfect for students who are curious about cars and want to have a fun and educational experience. During the camp, participants will get an introduction to car design and have the opportunity to design, create, and launch their own cars powered by compressed air. It's a hands-on experience that not only allows for creative expression within specific design constraints but also provides insights into the engineering process, from idea to final creation. The camp concludes with a laid-back racing competition where participants can enjoy watching their designed cars zoom down the track. It's a friendly event that adds a touch of excitement to the camp, giving everyone a chance to showcase their creations and have some fun.
