Let’s Have a Ball

PLAY BALL! We will throw, roll, dribble, and kick while enhancing motor skills and focusing on math, art, and literacy basics. You’ll be amazed by what a ball can do in addition to providing developmental opportunities and being a lot of fun.
Stay and Play

Does your camper want to stay all day? This afternoon session is differentiated by age and stage. Younger children will have more time to rest and nap while older children will enjoy free play, snacks, and organized games with camp counselors. It's a fun way to extend your Camp Curiosity day.
Lunch Bunch

12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M.
Does your camper need an extra hour after morning camp to enjoy lunch and recess with friends? Add Lunch Bunch to the day. Campers bring their own lunch. TLS is a nut-free school. No peanut butter or other foods that contain nuts of any kind, please.
Lexington Theatre Company (Grades K-1)

Teaching artists from The Lexington Theatre Company will provide theatrical instruction for students of all ages in Central Kentucky. This Musical Theatre Class will focus on the combined genres of music, storytelling, and movement. Experienced teaching artists and professional performers will take students on a musical journey filled with creativity, collaboration, and fun. There will be a performance on Friday from 3:30 to 4:00 P.M.

Legendary Creators Camp

Join us for a camp where imagination meets STEM! Dive into the world of legendary creatures and ancient myths as we explore stories from different cultures. Through hands-on projects, participants will engage in STEM activities such as building myth-inspired inventions, designing magical tools, and solving mythical challenges using engineering, technology, and creativity. It's a week of discovery, innovation, and fun, as we bring these timeless tales to life with a modern twist!
Pokémon: Build and Battle (Grades 1-5)

Welcome to Pokémon: Build & Battle, where the world of Pokémon meets math, literacy, and strategic thinking! In this program, young trainers will explore the art of building powerful Pokémon trading card decks while developing essential skills in problem-solving, mathematics, reading comprehension, and strategic decision-making. Each week, students will focus on different aspects of the game—deck construction, understanding card abilities, calculating damage, and planning strategies for winning battles. The program culminates in a tournament where students can showcase their skills. Pokémon cards will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
All Sports Camp (Grades 2-5)

This camp is perfect for all sports lovers! Come hang out with our TLS staff as we play the day away. TLS features two soccer fields, a beautiful football field, a full-size gym, three outdoor basketball courts, and our very own Gaga Ball court. This camp is sure to be a winner! All skill levels are welcome. Campers will be introduced to the fundamentals of a wide range of sports and games, including soccer, badminton, lacrosse, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and Gaga ball!

Weird Nature Science (Grades 1-2)

Have you ever wanted to be a scientist or deepen your understanding of the natural world? Well, you’re in luck! In this program, we’ll explore physics and the natural world through fun, hands-on science experiments in chemistry and physics. We’ll learn about the states of matter, the animal and plant kingdoms, and how the things we interact with in our everyday lives work. This is the perfect program for anyone who loves science, engineering, or simply enjoys getting a little messy!
