The Learning Center Summer Program
The Learning Center at The Lexington School will be running 4 weeks of summer camp specifically designed for students needing a boost in reading, writing, and math. Students may attend all camps or just one and are open to rising 1st - 5th grade students. For an extended day, students are welcome to register for lunch bunch or an afternoon camp with Camp Curiosity.
Students will be taught in small, targeted groups by teachers who can meet the individual needs of each child’s learning profile. The program is designed to supply students with a springboard to begin the upcoming academic year without neglecting summer fun.
Camp Specifics:

Student to teacher ratio is 6:1

Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Math instruction is structured and multi-sensory

Qualified teachers trained in visual, auditory, and tactile learning

Individual student summaries are provided to families at the end of each week

Students will be supplied with all necessary materials and snack is included

Designed for rising 1st–5th graders, this engaging morning program combines multi-sensory language and math instruction with hands-on activities that make learning fun and meaningful. Led by Orton-Gillingham-trained teachers, our small-group approach ensures each child receives personalized support in a welcoming, encouraging environment. No formal testing is required to attend; just a willingness to learn and grow! Families will receive weekly progress reports to celebrate successes and track growth. Camps run from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. There are four weeks to choose from; sign up for one or all four!
